We are expanding our team and are seeking an experienced Second Charge Case Manager Team Leader to support and oversee our growing Case Management function. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Case Managers while working closely with our Second Charge Mortgage Advisers to ensure high-quality case progression and outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, support and develop a team of Case Managers to ensure high performance and professional growth. 
- Quality Control: Oversee documentation checks to ensure compliance, accuracy, and completeness. 
- Case Oversight: Monitor case flow, ensuring timely progression from initial packaging to lender submission and completion. 
- Escalation Support: Act as the contact point for complex cases, providing guidance and solutions. 
- Client Experience: Maintain a high standard of client communication, ensuring transparency and proactive updates. 
- Workflow & Targets: Prioritise workload effectively to meet team performance targets and service level agreements. 
- Collaboration: Work closely with Advisers, Underwriters, and Lenders to achieve smooth case processing and positive client outcomes. 
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Proven team leadership or supervisory experience within Second Charge or specialist lending. 
- Strong understanding of the full Second Charge case journey, from packaging to completion. 
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support others. 
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. 
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach. 
- Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive team culture. 
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Second Charge Case Manager is essential. 
- Experience mentoring or leading Case Managers or junior staff. 
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance within the financial services sector. 
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
